Cosmic crustaceans: one year ago

the first two chapters of Cosmic Crustaceans were written in 2020, but it wasn't until 2022 that I really started writing it. it was actually in February of 2022, a little over a year ago. I had gone several months without touching it due to working 80 hours a week and trying to keep a roof over my head. this was while I was in Florida. back in October, I moved away from Florida, and since doing so I've been working my ass off on this novel. back in October I had only eight chapters written, now I'm on chapter 22.

at this point, I've only got 2730 words left to write before I reach my word count goal and finish this novel. While editing the other day, I could see how much my writing has improved since I wrote the first two chapters, and I'm very proud of how far I've come.

Cosmic Crustaceans will be finished this weekend, then I'll finish the first round of edits. of course, once that's done, I'll do a read through, and see if a third draft is needed.
