the forever life, book 1 review

giving this one 4 stars because while the story is good, it's also cliche. cliche in the sense that I've read several books where a man goes to space and someone in politics, or high military power wants him dead. other than that, I do like the story, the species of otherworldly beings the main character encounters are Unique, lol. another problem for me is the main character is a smart ass and takes nothing serious, not only that but, all of the idioms the author uses in this book (are about as subtle as a grenade) and they are used in abundance, if you can get passed all that, I recommend. p.s. I've decided to listen to/ read the entire series.
